Breastfeeding, lactation(making breastmilk) and feeding baby is such a nuanced learning curve, this workshop is the best way to prepare yourself, your partner / support person and the family as a whole.

in this course you learn so much you will be able to advocate for yourself, if you need, and be confident in  your self, your body and your baby.

We look at

• the specific advantages for both you and your baby, physical, emotional, mentally and financial - did you know that this course costs around 3 tubs of stage 1 formula, which would only last you around 10 days

• why we harvest colostrum

• hands on learning (with a knitted boob!) on how to harvest colostrum, hand express and position your baby for an effective pain free feed

• practice different position in order to feed your child, understand the pros and cons of each position

• learn how to recognise when breastfeeding is going well, and more importantly when their not!
