What happens at a breastfeeding / lactation consult?
Before we meet

take a few random video's of your feeds
-
fill out the intake and background forms I will send you when you book

During the consultation
-
tell me what's going on
-
tell me what your goals are -where you want to be next week and next month.

Breastfeeding / nursing assessment.
-
if needed, your baby needs an oral assessment or feeding plan
-
feeding in as many room as you wish
-
work together to get you on your way to where you'd like to be

After the consult

Do not worry about being in your pjs, a messy house or pets and siblings, although it maybe useful to have an extra pair of hands to take care of them, and to be an extra pair of ears.
